When they arrive at her sisters’ palace, the two attempt to reconcile, but Elsa loses control of her magic once again, striking her in the heart. Kristoff brings Anna to the trolls, where she learns that only real love can keep her heart from freezing solid.
Kristoff takes her back to Arendelle, thinking that a kiss from Hans would suffice. The prince, on the other hand, declines Anna’s plea, admitting to her that their engagement was just a ruse to usurp her kingdom. Meanwhile, Hans imprisons Elsa, but the terrified queen flees, setting off a massive blizzard.
